(POCATELLO) – A flock of turkeys has been bullying Pocatello residents in recent months. The Post Register reports that about a dozen birds have been throwing their weight around the KOA campground along Pocatello Creek Road. The turkeys have caused enough problems that at least one person has called Animal Control asking if he could shoot at them. Fish and Game officials say the birds appear to be domesticated, which could be the reason why they don’t fear anyone. But, there is a glimmer of hope for the gobbler-wary. The turkeys may move higher up into the valley due to melting snow.
