(POCATELLO) – The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for those living around the Portneuf River in Bannock County. Local News 8 reports that the river has already started breaching the banks in some areas. Officials say the ground hasn’t thawed yet, which may be one of the reasons why the river continues to rise. The National Weather Service asks that any flooding be reported by calling them at 233-0834.
