(IDAHO FALLS) – With a shutdown of the federal government pending a congressional decision today, one of Eastern Idaho’s biggest industries, the Idaho National Laboratory, could face major stumbling blocks. Local News 8 reports that the site won’t face any long-term problems unless the government shuts down for an extended period of time. By law, all government departments will continue to operate at minimal levels until all funds have run dry.
