(REXBURG) – As BYU-Idaho continues to expand as the state’s largest university, housing in Rexburg is booming. Local News 8 reports that new complexes are already in the works to accomodate an additional 1,400 students. The city is emphasizing a new approach to housing by forcing developers to incorporate less parking space. The new initiative is expected to curb the number of student drivers living within walking distance of the BYU-Idaho campus.
