Pocatello Police See Increase in Scams

(POCATELLO) – Pocatello Police have seen an increase in scams in recent months. Spokesman Kim Ellis tells Local News 8 that the latest reports of scams are targeting the elderly, claiming to be from Medicare, Dish Network, or charity groups. Ellis says now is the time to take steps against identity theft by doing simple things like clearing out junk mail and not opening suspicious e-mails.
