  Published at

(POCATELLO) – Police in Pocatello are helping people get rid of their old medications. The Bannock County Sheriff’s office, along with the Pocatello and Chubbuck Police Departments have set up disposal boxes in their offices. The boxes are all part of a statewide push to reduce illegal prescription drug use. Officials told Local News 8 that the agencies have collected over 100 pounds of old pills since Saturday. Residents can drop off their unused medications weekdays from 9 to 5.
