Public Wary of Political Stalling
(IDAHO FALLS) – As partisan games continue in Boise, many are worried that lawmakers are causing more damage than good. Local News 8 reports spoke with several people from different backgrounds, but almost all of them had one thing in common — they’re fed up with their elected officials. If Idaho’s legislative session continues past April 8, a likely possibility, each additional day will cost tax payers $30,000. Lawmakers counter that they’re taking their time on important bills, but still aren’t willing to compromise along party lines.
