(IDAHO FALLS) – Shoshone-Bannock tribal leaders will be traveling to Washington D.C. in the coming weeks to discuss plans for renewable energy. The trip is all part of a Tribal Summit with Native American and Alaskan representatives from all over the country. Sho-Ban leaders hope to address ways the Fort Hall reservation can assist the INL in cleaning up nuclear waste, as well as implementing solar-powered irrigation systems.
