(WEST YELLOWSTONE, Mont.) – Yellowstone National Park could be shutdown soon if Congressional lawmakers can’t agree on a compromised budget by Friday. City officials in West Yellowstone fear the government shutdown could cause serious problems for their local economy, which relies heavily on tourism. If a shutdown happens, they hope to attract tourists by promoting other activities outside the park.
