19-year-old Charged with First Degree Murder

(POCATELLO) – A 19-year-old Pocatello man has been charged with the first-degree murder of an infant. The baby boy was taken to Portneuf Medical Center early Monday morning where he was pronounced dead. Lee Ross Barbone was taken into custody as the case’s primary suspect. Barbone’s relationship to the victim has not been released. The suspect was charged in March with domestic battery and had a sentencing scheduled for today, which will likely be delayed pending an investigation.
