City Council Rejects Grace Lutheran Proposal

(POCATELLO) – The Pocatello City Council has rejected a proposal from Grace Lutheran Church to change zoning laws around the old Ballard Medical Building. The church had plans to turn the old facility into a Christian High School and events center. In spite of exceptions made on zoning from time to time, the council did not approve of a public hearing on the issue in front of the Planning and Zoning Committee, but did praise the church’s valuable impact in the community.
