(POCATELLO) – The Portneuf Medical Center welcomed it’s first baby this week. KPVI reports that the baby was born just a few hours after the new facility opened Tuesday, and he’s already off to a great start. ISU President Arthur Vailas awarded baby Jaxon with a four-year scholarship to the university. PMC officials say they’re happy for Jaxon’s family and that they look forward to future deliveries.
