Flood Levels Rise Around Eastern Idaho

(POCATELLO) – The city of Pocatello has set up an emergency operations center to deal with rising flood waters along the Portneuf River. City officials don’t expect any wide-spread flooding, but are encouraging residents living close to the river to make plans to leave if necessary. Officials in Madison County are also preparing for rising water, with Beaver Dick park west of Rexburg being swallowed up by the Henry’s Fork today.
