Flooding on Bannock County Farms

(INKOM) – With the Portneuf River past flood stage, Bannock County farmers in lowland areas are already seeing water pouring onto their fields. Farmer Jim Guthrie says he’ll lose about 4-500 tons of hay, with further losses to his barley crop. Other farmers in the region are having similar problems. Local News 8 reports that if temperatures stay in the low to mid 60s, flood levels should go down.
