Police Given Mis-Leading Information

(FORT HALL) – A Fort Hall man accused of lying to reservation police to avoid charges of child endangerment will now face charges of giving a false statement. 34-year-old Heath Dixey originally told police he pushed another man from his car, then changed his story claiming his 2-year-old child inadvertently put the car in gear and struck the man. Dixey will be sentenced in U.S. District Court August 3.
