Funeral Arrangements Under Way for Murder Victims

(AMMON) – Funeral arrangements are under way for the women and children murdered in their Ammon home last Friday. Local News 8 reports that police do not have a motive for why Gaylin Leirmoe shot and killed his ex-girlfriend, 22-year old Michelle Kern, her sister 19-year-old Malinda Kern, his two young sons, and then himself. Police say there were no restraining orders against Leirmoe, and law enforcement had not received any calls of concern from the victim before the incident, though the man had a long history of domestic violence.
