Hunters Buy 1,100 Wolf Tags in First Week

  Published at

(IDAHO FALLS) – It’s been nearly a week since the Idaho Department of Fish and Game decided to start selling wolf tags, and so far they’re pretty popular. KPVI reports that over 1,100 tags were sold in the first week, though most have not been sold as primary tags. Hunters are buying the wolf tags paired with deer, elk, or bear tags. Fish and Game officials will set up the rules for this fall’s wolf hunt next week in Lewiston.
