INL Upgrades

(IDAHO FALLS) – Wildfires, flash floods, and earthquakes are just a small portion of a long list of potential hazards affecting the Idaho National Laboratory, but officials hope to make the site more secure and safe. KPVI reports that the site is upgrading its communications system. The INL is working with counties to update mutual-aid agreements that enable the site to work with authorities from counties across the area to mitigate events such as accidents on the highway and wildfires.
