McCammon Man Dies in Car Accident

(ELKO, Nev.) – A McCammon man is dead after a weekend car accident near Elko, Nevada. 27-year-old Nicholas Call was driving south on U.S. Highway 93 on Saturday when he attempted to pass another car in a no-passing zone. Call slammed into an oncoming car driven by Daniel Nelson of Aloha, Oregon. Nelson’s wife, 49-year-old Christy Nelson, also died at the scene of the accident. Police say Call was wearing his seatbelt improperly.
