North Idaho Man Unfit for Trial

(COEUR d’ALENE) – A northern Idaho man accused of brutally murdering a neighbor and severely injuring three others has been found unfit to stand trial. 31-year-old Larry Cragun of Bayview pleaded not guilty to the first-degree murder of 43-year-old Patricia Heath. Cragun’s defense team enlisted the help of a licensed psychologist who determined the suspect did not know what he was doing. Just days before the attack police say Cragun posted flyers suggesting there was an umbrella submerged in Lake Pend Oreille that, along with GPS tracking satellites, allowed the government to read peoples’ minds.
