Oil Prices Drop, Idaho Gas Prices Rise

(IDAHO FALLS) – After the price of oil dropped by nearly $15 a barrel last week, you’d think Idaho’s gas prices would too, but they’re not. Gas prices went up by nearly 4 cents Tuesday night with an average of $3.69 per gallon in Idaho Falls. Local News 8 reports that eastern Idaho remains considerably lower on average than many other parts of the country, and may see lower gas prices on the horizon. Energy officials say drivers will still be paying more at the pump this summer than they did last year.
