Pets Blessed in Idaho Falls

(IDAHO FALLS) – Several people gathered in Idaho Falls Saturday to give their pets a little more help from On High. The Post Register reports that members of the St. Paul’s United Methodist Church brought their cats and dogs for animal blessings. Judy Young, a Humane Society volunteer who helped get the blessing ceremony started says she understands the strong spiritual bond between a pet and its owner. This is the second year the church has held its “Blessing of Pets and Compassion for Critters” ceremony.
