Pocatello Speedway Gets New Owner

(POCATELLO) – The Pocatello Speedway hasn’t heard the rumble of engines in quite some time, but changes could be on the horizon. Local News 8 reports that Utah-resident Brent Nelson was named as the speedway’s new owner during a city council meeting Thursday. Nelson hopes to fix things up a bit along with putting in tougher restrictions on alcohol to make the track more family-friendly. The track will be renamed the Pocatello Raceway for legal purposes.
