(AMERICAN FALLS) – A section of the Snake River below the American Falls Dam has been reopened to boaters. Local News 8 reports that Power County Commissioners made the announcement Friday after complaints from the public. The Oregon Trail, Rio Vista, and Massacre Rocks boat launch areas are open, though Pipeline remains closed. Officials are cautioning boaters that emergency responders may not be able to reach them if problems arise, and are encouraging boaters to limit their time on the water.
