Rockslide Closes Road in Yellowstone

(YELLOWSTONE, N.P.) – A rockslide has closed a section of highway in Yellowstone National Park. Officials say at least one car-sized boulder made its way onto the road between Mammoth Hot Springs and Tower Junction early Saturday morning. Heavy snowfall covered large sections of road over the weekend causing minor delays. The road has been reopened to emergency traffic but will remain closed until the ground stabilizes.
