Wolf Bans Lifted in Idaho

  Published at

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – In an official announcement made yesterday, the Obama administration has lifted federal protections of gray wolves in Idaho. Idaho Fish and Game officials have a plan in the works to allow wolf hunting this fall. More than 700 of the animals are believed to be in Idaho, more than half of the total population of wolves living in the lower 48.
