Wolf Hunting Quotas Could Be Set By August

(BOISE) – Now that Idaho wolves have been removed from federal protection, Idaho Fish and Game officials are working to determine quotas for wolf hunting this fall. An estimated 705 wolves are roaming the state in 87 packs. Officials hope to have a number set by August, with hunts possibly starting as soon as September.
