Wyoming Gov. Visits Landslide

  Published at

(JACKSON, Wyo.) – The Wyoming Department of Transportation is continuing efforts to clear debris from U.S. Highway 26 south of Jackson. Crews are making a lot of headway and it looks like the landslide is starting to slow down. Local News 8 reports that visitors to the slide included Wyoming Gov. Matt Mead, who stopped by the site yesterday to look things over.
“It’s certainly massive and there is a lot of water to deal with, but I am certainly impressed with the work the folks here are doing. They have approached it the right way and tried to not make mistakes,” said Mead.
Crews could have the road cleared by next week.
