Yellowstone Roads Slow to Open for Weekend

(YELLOWSTONE, N.P.) – If you’re planning a trip to Yellowstone this weekend, you can expect a few delays. Cooler temperatures have left snow in areas usually open by this time of year. Officials say road closures remain between Tower Falls and Canyon Village. Sylvan Pass has been closed to night travel due to a high avalanche risk. The Beartooth Highway leading out of the park’s northeast entrance isn’t expected to be open until June 3.
