Fixed Gear Air Tractor 502

A small crop-duster airplane (Air Tractor 502) experienced a forced landing when taking off from the Blackfoot  Airport, landing on the golf course Tuesday afternoon. The plane is a ‘fixed-gear’ model, in which the landing gear is always down. The plane hit hard enough to collapse the landing gear. It happened around 4:15pm yesterday afternoon. The plane clipped a tree as it left  the Blackfoot airport. The pilot was not injured. An investigation is ongoing.
