Police Remind Drivers To Be Aware Of Pedestrians, Or It Will Cost Them
Published atMany locals were happy to get out doors yesterday in the warm weather, but the Idaho Falls Police Department is warning both drivers and pedestrians to watch out for one another.
The Idaho Falls Police Department is currently stationing officers at selected crosswalks throughout the next few weeks, looking for drivers not yielding to pedestrians.Police said that if a driver fails to yield to a pedestrian, they can be cited with an $85 ticket, but police add that the citation could be even higher if the driver is also speeding.
