Rexburg Police Encourage Bike Registration

Register Your Bike For Free

Police in Rexburg are encouraging bike owners to get their bikes registered this summer. Local News 8 reports that for the first time ever, the city is providing registration online. Each year about 50 bikes are reported stolen around the city, with another 100 being turned in. Police say bike registration gives them an easier way to contact the owners of stolen bikes, rather than having to resell the bikes that go unclaimed. Bike registration is free for those wanting to participate.
