Romney/Huntsman Compete in Mormon Primary

GOP Presidential candidates Mitt Romney and Jon Hunstman are both gearing up for what many are calling the “Mormon Primary”.  Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints make up the fourth-largest religious denomination in the country, and both candidates have plans to cash in on their widely-held support in the Intermountain West. But while they may find supporters in the west, a recent Gallup poll suggests that nearly 1-in-5 Republicans will not support a Mormon president, while 1-in-4 Democrats say they won’t either.

Interesting Fact: A recent report found that both candidates are actually distant cousins.
