An Injured Idaho Soldier is now back in the U.S.
Staff Sgt Jason Rzepa of the 116th Cavalry Brigade is continuing to recover and receive treatment at a facility in Texas. National Guard representative Colonel Tim Marsano said that Rzepa is in high spirits. C2 Rzepa’s injuries resulted in both of his legs being amputated below the knee. Two other Idaho soldiers, Specialists Nathan Beyers and Nicholas Newby were killed in the same blast.
