Bingham County Zoning Hearings Stir Up Debates

Proposed revisions to Bingham County’s zoning ordinance brought in dozens of people for a public hearing Wednesday night. Local News 8 reports that zoning administrators discussed issues related to wind turbines, tribal lands, campaign signs, and fees for animal units. The meeting lasted until almost 11 p.m., though no final decisions were made. Commissioners plan to continue the hearing July 13. If the revisions are minor, they will likely be sent off to commissioners for final approval.
