On Sunday July 3RD, at the Civic Auditorium in Idaho Falls there will be a fireside event to celebrate America’s Independence Day. During the evening you can see the re-enactment of the Second Virginia Convention where Patrick Henry gave his inspiring “Give Me Liberty, Or Give Me Death” speech. There will be a special tribute to our Constitution and the soldiers who have defended it and who defend it now. Glenn Rawson from the Sounds of Sunday will deliver a speech on forming a more perfect union. The Idaho Falls Fireman Pipes and Drums will perform in honor of our fallen soldiers. Many other inspiring patriotic numbers will be performed. This is a free event for the entire family. Join this Celebration of Liberty Sunday, July 3rd, 7:00 pm. at the Civic Auditorium in Idaho Falls. For more details please visit our website at www.celebrationofliberty.org.

***If you are a veteran please dress in your uniform (if it will still fit). If possible please dress in patriotic colors or Sunday best clothing.

This is the 6th year The Celebration of Liberty has offered patriotic programs celebrating the freedoms we now enjoy. Educating ourselves about our founding documents and the principles that surround them are of primal importance. Each of the Celebration of Liberty programs have the same purpose: “To instill in people a love and understanding of the U.S. Constitution and spark a desire to maintain the freedoms we enjoy because of this inspired document.” Our programs have influenced tens of thousands of people over the last five years. We pray these traditions will continue for generations to come.
