The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning along the Snake River near Blackfoot. Rising temperatures are filling local reservoirs to capacity. As a result, Palisades is releasing more water to make room for what’s left of this year’s snow melt. Though the river remains about one foot below flood stage, officials expect the river to reach 11 feet or higher this weekend. Those living in the area are urged to take action now to protect their property.
