Fishing Pond Coming To Pocatello

After years of public inquiry, the city of Pocatello is finally getting a fishing pond. Beginning July 18, the Edson Fitcher Nature Area will be closed for construction on the new pond. Aside from boosting income for local outdoor shops, many residents say they’ll welcome the 3 acre pond on the south end of the city. Officials hope to have the area reopened by the end of October.
