Climber Falls in Death Canyon
Published at(JACKSON, Wyo.) – An Oregon woman has been hospitalized after falling nearly 25 feet along a trail in Grand Teton National Park. 25-year-old Lauren McLean suffered serious injuries after falling in the Death Canyon area. Park officials say McLean’s rope system failed, causing her to fall feet first onto a rock ledge. McLean was flown by helicopter to the University of Utah Medical Center for additional treatment.
