Farmers Say NO To Power Lines

(AMERICAN FALLS) – Farmers in Power County are fighting the Bureau of Land Management over the construction of a power line that will run through the area. The farmers say they want the line to go around their property and onto Craters of the Moon National Monument instead. Federal officials say the project would only affect about three-and-a-half miles of farmland. A county attorney is working with the BLM to work out a new agreement.
