(BOISE) – Idaho’s Public Schools will receive an extra $31 million thanks to a land endowment. The land board voted to distribute a total of $47.5 million next year to the beneficiaries of the state endowment, which include the University of Idaho and State Hospital South in Blackfoot. Public schools will receive about $31.2 million of that amount, which is a 2.3 percent increase from the 2011 fiscal year.
