(IDAHO FALLS) – State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Luna says he isn’t ruling out the possibility running for governor in the future. Luna told Local News 8 that he’s downplaying calls by his supporters to run for governor should Gov. Butch Otter not seek another term in the future. He says that while he’s flattered with the idea, his priority will remain on education. Though Luna says he enjoy’s what he’s doing, a future gubernatorial bid may be in the works.
