Facebook Page Created For Animal Shelter

(POCATELLO) – Pocatello’s animal shelter is desperate to move out of a building that is falling apart, and a Facebook campaign helped raise money to start construction on a new space. KIDK reports that Phil Meador Toyota set up an online challenge that let the public decide how big of a check they’ll write to the shelter. No final total has been released, though the page had accumulated almost $10,000 by Saturday. Animal shelter officials say they are grateful for the help, and excited to see how many people care.
