Plane Crashes In Emmett
Published atEMMETT, Idaho – The FAA is investigating a small plane crash north of Emmett.
KBOI2 reported that Gem County Dispatch said the pilot has been identified as Richard Jennings of Emmett.
Emmett Police says Jennings was returning from a camping trip in north Idaho with his dog when the airplane engine kept cutting out. Jennings was forced to find a place to land and found the field.
Officials say the property had just recently been irrigated, which helped soften the landing. Jennings suffered an injured wrist. The dog was OK.
