Thief Caught

Idaho Falls Police arrested Dustin Don Strange early Sunday morning for two counts of burglary and one count petty theft for stealing a car stereo and other items from a snow shack and car wash.
Joelyn Hansen, PIO for the IFPD, told East Idaho News that Strange, 28, of Gresham, Ore., was caught after a resident witnessed the thefts and immediately called police.
Police responded to the intersection of Alan and Ashment around 6 a.m. after a resident reported Strange breaking into his pick-up truck. Officers scouted the area and found Strange hiding behind a pick-up truck parked on Alan Street.
Strange was found in possession of the stolen stereo and items taken from the Spray Me Down car wash and adjoining snack shack.
