(POCATELLO) – The smoke is beginning to clear as fire crews continue to battle a brush fire in the foothills near Pocatello. Officials say the “Drive-In” Fire has burned an estimated 1,300 acres and destroyed one home, but no injuries were reported. Health officials say another major impact of the fire has been the poor air quality. Smoke filled the air from Arimo to Ashton, causing problems for residents with asthma, lung, or heart problems. Officials say it may be a good idea to stay inside and if necessary, invest in an air filter.
