Stunned Hawk Found in Idaho Falls Garage

(IDAHO FALLS) – An Idaho Falls family found an unexpected visitor in their garage Sunday. KIDK reports that a 3-month old Swainson’s Hawk was sitting in the garage. The Swainson’s Hawk is protected in most states with a habitat extending throughout North and South America. A bird expert was called in and said the hawk was likely stunned from Saturday night’s windstorm. The bird turned out OK and eventually flew off without incident.
