Teton County Makes Budget Cuts

(DRIGGS) – Teton County commissioners are still battling a tough economy, and now law enforcement officials are feeling the cuts. The sheriff’s office is losing an investigator in an effort to balance the county’s budget. Sheriff Tony Liford tells KIDK that he doesn’t think the cuts are a good idea. However, a new law enforcement center is slated to begin construction during the next fiscal year. A vote on next year’s budget is set for the end of the month.
