(FORT HALL) – Fort Hall Police have ruled the death of a man found Sunday night as accidental. Police say 45-year-old Clint Ballard sustained head and neck injuries consistent with diving in shallow water. Ballard’s shoes and shirt were in his vehicle parked nearby and police say he appeared to be alone. Officials are conducting a toxicology report to determine whether alcohol was a factor in Ballard’s death. Fort Hall officials are cautioning swimmers in the Fort Hall Bottoms to be mindful of the shallow waters and unpredictable currents.
