Fake Assissination Threat letters

(SALT LAKE CITY, Utah) – Authorities say a Utah man faces federal charges for falsely claiming several Internal Revenue Service employees planned to kill President Obama. Jason J. Nicholson of Ogden was indicted last week on three federal counts of making false statements. Nicholson mailed three letters – one in October, one in March and one in June – to IRS offices claiming the employees were going to assassinate the president. He is set for a court appearance Sept. 7.
